You know, it’s really easy for some people to feel like they’re spiritually awakened just because they’ve gathered a lot of information. They might read all the books, watch videos, or dive into spiritual practices, but if they’re not actually embodying that knowledge, it’s not real awakening—it’s just collecting ideas. True awakening is about living what you learn. It’s not enough to know about compassion, forgiveness, or self-awareness—you have to practice it. For example, someone can talk all day about being ‘high vibe’ or ‘detached,’ but if they’re losing their temper, judging others, imposing their ideas on another, or refusing to look at their own shadows, they’re not embodying what they know. Awakening isn’t just an intellectual exercise. It’s a deep, soul-level transformation. It changes how you see yourself and others, how you handle challenges, and how you show up in the world. It’s about alignment—when your actions, thoughts, and words all reflect that higher awareness. I think this is where humility comes in. Truly awakened people don’t feel the need to parade their knowledge around or try to fix others because they know it’s about being, not just knowing. They live it quietly and consistently, and their energy speaks louder than their words. So, if someone’s still operating from a place of ego or acting out of alignment with what they claim to believe, it’s probably a sign that they’re still gathering information, not embodying it. And that’s okay! Awakening is a process, not a destination. But it’s important to be honest with yourself about where you are on that journey. In love and truth, Lori Lines
