There is no loss but the perception of loss. In life, things change. People drift, roles evolve, homes are left behind, chapters close. And when they do, we often call it loss. But if we look with the eyes of the soul, we might see—it’s not loss. It’s love, changing form. What once held a certain shape, a familiar rhythm, has simply softened into something new. A memory. A knowing. An inner strength that wasn’t there before. A presence we now carry within. The love that existed didn’t vanish. It became part of us. The connection we had didn’t end. It shifted from outer expression to inner truth. In these transitions, we grieve not because love is gone, but because it no longer arrives in the form we expected. And yet, if we slow down and listen—really listen—we’ll still feel it. In the warmth of a sunset. In a sudden thought. In the way we smile without knowing why. There is no true loss. Only the shedding of what was… and the unfolding of what still is, in a new way. Love remains. Changed, yes. But still here. Still felt. Still guiding. In love and truth, - Lori Lines
