Arriving from out-of-town?
Welcome to Georgetown, Texas!
An Oasis of Southern Charm, just minutes from Austin, TX
Since QHHT® must be performed in-person, which is the safest way to practice this modality for the client, many have chosen to visit Lori from out of the Georgetown, TX area including out of state and out of the country guests. Therefore, Lori has included this page for out of town folks who want to visit and who might need suggestions as to where to go and where to stay.
Georgetown is located just north of the Austin-metro area in central Texas.
Established in 1848, Georgetown, Texas has over 180 homes and buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Recently named the “Fastest Growing City in the U.S.”, Georgetown is home to just over 58,000 people. It is the perfect balance of “small town charm” with all the conveniences of larger cities. Those visiting from larger cities will be pleasantly surprised by the range in shopping, dining, healthcare, and entertainment found in the area.
“Georgetown is considered one of the prettiest cities in Williamson County, especially during the spring and summer months when poppies and wild flowers are in full bloom. … residents who settle into one of the city’s restored Victorian homes or new Tuscan villas can enjoy a walk along the bank of the San Gabriel River or play a round of golf on one of the five local courses. Mountain biking trails around Lake Georgetown lead riders to the edge of Texas Hill Country,” says Fortune Magazine in its description of Georgetown.

How will you be arriving?
FLYING IN: If you are flying in to Texas on a commercial airline, you will want to fly into Austin-Berstrom International Airport (ABIA). It is highly recommended you fly in the day prior to your appointment so as not to have to worry about delays. Lori's office is located about 45 minutes from the Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). If you are flying privately, Georgetown Municipal Airport is about 15 minutes to Lori's office. In any case, it is also recommended you fly out at least the day after your appointment, if not staying a while.
DRIVING IN: For those who are driving in from over an hour away, you might consider hotel accommodations for the night of your appointment. Your appointment will finish in the early evening and most want to get dinner and a good night's rest. Driving long distances immediately after a session is not advised. The exception would be if you have someone, with you, to drive you back home.
