A Lightness of Being
"It has been almost a month since I had my first QHHT session with Lori, it has taken me this long to assimilate the effects and to formulate the words sufficiently to write about it. To say that something major has shifted within me is an understatement. At first I thought my newfound lightness of being was going to be transitory and I would come down if the energies around me changed, I am extremely sensitive to energy and during this last crazy 12 months I have been on a rollercoaster of moods. The rollercoaster was a new uncomfortable development as I have always been very even keeled, I do realize though that it was due to deep personal growth.
"Because of the personal growth, I felt like I was ready for my QHHT session and I chose Lori because she’s the best. The interview portion was for me equally as powerful as the regression portion, truly a gift to be able to tell your life story to a masterful listener and an intuitive guide who knew just the right questions to ask to pull real depth and insight out of my experiences and psyche. There were many aha moments and connections made and uncovered as we meandered our way through my life. I sobbed and laughed and released so much that I wouldn’t have otherwise allowed just in that conversation. I wouldn’t have allowed it because as I discovered, an overarching theme in my life is allowing myself to be vulnerable to myself and others, I had never acknowledged or recognized this pattern of sacrificing myself so that those closest to me can be comfortable and feel secure. This was HUGE.
"In the regression session, I returned to my most previous lifetime and, low and behold, it was my maternal Grandmother, Elizabeth (Bet), whom I never knew, she died when my Mother was 10 of a cerebral aneurysm, my Mother found her. I’d always suspected that I possibly was she. I had very vivid memories of her life since I was a child, yet I could never connect to her energy so I’d held no affection for her. I used to stare at her portrait and try to find an inkling of recognition but none came. I now realize that this was because I am she, she is me, there is no separation therefore I couldn’t tap in.
"I jumped right into her life in multiple vignettes, as a child, Bet was bored, as a young woman, Bet was restless, as a grown woman, Bet was sad and grief stricken. All three conveyed the connection to my now life that I needed to know. I incarnated into this lifetime so I would be free of the societal constraints of her time and social class, I incarnated so I could be wild and uninhibited and courageous, and I have been, I incarnated into this lifetime to heal Bet’s broken heart, and to do that I had to have my heart profoundly broken, and it was 17 years ago, the one and only time my heart was broken and so broken that I could hardly breathe with the grief that I could not allow to be known and which lasted probably 6 full years . The otherworldly nature of the relationship that broke my heart and precipitated my dark night of the soul had an energetic connection to Bets unfinished business and I needed to feel the pain to understand.
"Bet took me to a moment when she was with her husband, my Grandfather, David, they were sitting face to face in a row boat, she had on a light blue and white striped dress, she loved that dress, she was leaning forward, stroking David’s face, holding it between her hands and gazing into his dear, kind, beautiful royal blue eyes. She was feeling such deep love, sweet love, but it was bittersweet because her inner being knew she couldn’t stay, that she must leave and she didn’t want to leave him, she loved him so. It was at that moment in the session that I believe that Bet and I converged and truly became one, as I write this I am fighting back tears, for I am so grateful. Grateful because I know that there has been ancestral healing done and completed.
"So back to my current Lightness of Being, it’s actually more than that, so many layers that clouded my understanding of myself and my world and my worth and my purpose just slipped away. There is a buoyant joy in my soul, a release of needing to be anything other than who I am, unabashedly me, peaceful and powerfully vulnerable in my own life, my now life, my now moments which have become so crystal clear.
