By Lori Lines The first time we connect to a past or parallel life, the realm of possibility expands in a way that is refreshing, awe-inspiring, but also a bit baffling. There is so much healing information and nuggets of wisdom, to be had, tucked away in these lives! We may ask, "why didn't I know about this sooner?" It seems a bit unfair, doesn't it? Think of past and parallel lives as textbooks. We are free to study the books at length before but are often not allowed to have access to them once the exam begins. The exam is our life's journey. Like an open book exam, we can sometimes access the information, but not if it inhibits or undermines our ability to truly learn and to grow that expands our spiritual awakening. Considering how many past and parallel lives we have lived, it is only realistic to assume there has been heartache, psychic pain, and trauma that our soul has endured; Which begs the question, how enthusiastic would we be about the life ahead if our last life was one of grief, loss, and ended in a tragic death? We would likely come into this lifetime with a grim outlook and a fear of living another one altogether. Trauma is a big reason why we don't remember the last life as soon as we arrive onto this one. Trauma can inhibit our will to live, limit our drive to explore, and even quell our hopes for the future. The first time we watch a new movie, we are eager for the experience with all ears and eyes! We are vigilant to not miss any twists and turns as the movie unfolds. When we watch our favorite movie for the umpteenth time, we are more relaxed, we may explain the film to a first-time watcher, we may glance at our phone. If we know, with certainty, that we have lived many lives before and many lives after, would we have the same zest for it? I don't think so. Some people may become complacent and take this life for granted. The certainty that we have many lives to choose can make us vulnerable to a futile mindset and a lack of appreciation for the life we are currently living. If we remember our past or parallel lives, we may also remember charting this life. The risk of remembering charting this life is it may seriously undermine our free-will. Free-will is a Divine gift, but we have flexed this muscle before. When we mapped the life we are living now, we selected several choice-points, where we would opt to take a specific path. Awareness that some decisions have already been made and knowing what to expect may damage our sense of free-will and personal power. this can lead to a lack of excitement and a perceived lack of control over our destiny. If we have lived so many past or parallel lives, why don't we remember? The truth is we can and do remember, but only when the time is right, where appropriate for our soul evolution. You see, remembering these alternative lives can be a blessing or a curse depending on how we remember and when. A past life regression, during a QHHT session, is when these memories serve our healing and help us navigate life changes. When the memories heal, uplift, or guide us is when these memories should be celebrated as a gift and a real blessing from our Higher-Self. In love and truth, Lori Lines
